During the process, we provide layouts + floor plans, cabinetry + lighting design, fixture selections, as well as construction drawings + specifications. The Function:
Having a space that functions for you is essential for setting the stage for a successful remodel. We will evaluate your needs and provide detailed space planning in order to optimize your home.
The Concept:
The overall design concept creates the feel and vibe for your new space. This concept serves as our aesthetic guide for the project. What colors, textures, and features will be the most appropriate for you?
The Details:
You can rest easy knowing we provide expert kitchen + bath design, lighting design, and cabinetry + millwork design. Custom features are our favorite! We also take care of design elements such as unique fireplaces, built-ins, and fabulous feature walls.
The Finishes:
Flooring, tile, counters, oh my! Don’t go it alone, we’ll curate your finishes and make sure it all jives with the overall vision for your home.
The Fixtures:
Plumbing + lighting no problem. We will select and specify all the fixtures for each room of your project.
The Coordination:
Construction can be overwhelming! I’ll stick with you to ensure our designs are implemented as planned. This means I’ll coordinate with your builder and trade professionals, do regular site visits, and keep you in the loop.
Furniture and Decor (The Icing!):
Consider adding furniture and decor design + procurement services to your project. This is the icing on the cake that helps create the most cohesive design and pulls the space together. We will specify, procure and coordinate installation for all furniture and decor. You don’t have to worry about a thing!

What is full-service design?
Full-service design means your design team leads you through a collaborative process from the initial planning stages all the way through construction. How do I get started?
- Schedule a Call
- In this 15-minute phone call, we’ll discuss your project goals, timeline, and budget. I’ll share a little bit about the process to make sure we’re a good fit! If all signs are a go, we’ll schedule a time to meet in person.
- Let's Meet
- During your complimentary 60-minute walk-through, we’ll evaluate your home; what's working and what's not so I can prepare a proposal that fits your needs.
- Design Proposal
- Within 7-10 days from the walk-through, your proposal will be emailed. It will outline our scope of work, timeline, fees, and terms. Once the contract is signed and your first payment is made… you’ll secure your spot on my design calendar!
When is the right time to enlist an interior designer?
The sooner the better! It is best to leverage an interior designer’s skills at the beginning of the project to establish a functional floorplan and a cohesive design solution that suits you .
How long does the design process take?
Renovation design solution typically takes 8-12 weeks depending on scope and complexity.
New Construction design solutions typically take 4-6 months to keep pace with the hired architect.
How do I prepare for my initial walk-through with K Squared?
